I have been working as Raquel Lázaro's student assistant for two years, helping her with her research regarding Modern Philosophy, specifically in the study of identity and self-knowledge. My responsibilities vary from text-translation, to office work and research assistance. Thanks to this experience I have deepened my knowledge in Modern Philosophy and have been able to further learn about the topics that I am most passionate about: the knowledge of the self and ontological identity. I have centered my research on St. Augustine, Rousseau and Montaigne. With the help of Professor Lazaro, I have sharpened necessary academic skills such as critical thinking and time organization.

    • Intern
      • May 2019 - Aug 2019

In the summer of 2019 I had the privilege of working in Medellin's biggest newspaper. I worked as an intern in the cultural magazine Generación, where I published seven articles on the topics of art, sports, rural tourism and the literature scene in Medellin. It was an amazing experience where I was able to put my writing skills into practice and learn how a journalism house works from the inside. Even though it was hard and challenging, I am thankful for the opportunity and all the great skills it taught me: how to write a proper story, setting up the "agenda" in a magazine and writing small news pieces known in Spanish as "breves".
